Are you interested in Track & Field? Want to try the different events? Join us for a One-Day Track & Field Camp to experience the sport and learn new skills or improve your skills! All the information is below, and let us know if you have questions.

WHAT:  One-Day Track & Field Camp
WHO:  6th-12th graders who are homeschooled or who attend a school which does not offer Track & Field
WHEN:  Saturday, November 16, 9am-3pm
WHERE:  Furman University Track
COST:  $35 (1st sibling - $30 / 2nd and additional siblings - $25)
LUNCH / SNACKS:  Each athlete is asked to bring their own lunch and water bottle. Additional snacks and water will be provided.
WEAR:  Please dress warmly. Layers prevent injury and are removable if you get too hot.
SCHEDULE:  There will be a morning and afternoon session, with a break for lunch in between. Throughout the day, athletes will have the opportunity to learn and participate in the following events:  long jump, javelin, shot put, discus, sprints and relays.
T-SHIRT:  A fun Track & Field Camp t-shirt will be available to purchase at the track!

HURRICANES BASEBALL TRYOUTS & SEASON INFO

November 11th & 12th are the official tryout dates for Hurricanes Baseball! There is no cost for trying out, but you must be signed up to try out! Players who desire to play with the Canes in the Spring of 2025 must attend one of the tryout dates.

HURRICANES MS FALL BASEBALL SKILLS CAMP

Hurricanes MS Fall Baseball Skills Camp will focus on strengthening fundamentals of hitting, fielding, pitching, and base running. We will also focus on the various mental aspects of the game and continue building team chemistry as we prepare for official spring tryouts on November 11th. Each day will begin or end with a short devotional.

Who: All boys grades 6th-8th who are interested in refining their skills or potentially playing Hurricanes Baseball in the spring of 2025
When: Monday to Wednesday, October 28-30, 5:00-8:00pm
Where: Conestee Stadium (840 Mauldin Rd, Greenville, SC 29607)
Bring: Participants will need to wear baseball pants, cleats, and bring a helmet, glove, and bat.

MARKSMANSHIP SEASON 2024/25

WHO: The team includes Elementary (4th & up), Middle, and High School student athletes who practice and compete on the Hurricanes Marksmanship Team.

WHAT: We are a Marksmanship skill development program through training, practice and local competitions, leading to State, Regional and National Championship matches.

WHEN: The season runs from September through December for everyone on the team. For those that desire to compete at a higher level, we continue January through July.

WHERE: The 2 main training locations are SharpShooters Indoor Range in Greenville, and Speedway Gun Range in Travelers Rest.

HOW MUCH: The season fee is $500
